My scorecard...

On Tuesday, I made five pledges for my next show. Let's see how I did...

1) I will remember the sixth item in the 12 Days of Christmas. - 8 points (I remembered item #6 but forgot item #10, which was mine to remember.)
2) I will sell my 185 punchline so much that I will leave the stage after my first try during "THE GAME". - 35,000 points (I got out on a carpenter pun.)
3) I will interact with a minimum of THREE objects in my next scene - none of which will be a computer, a gun or can of pop. - 4,000 points (I used binoculars and a sandwich.)
4) I will sing a pretty love song that is not creepy. - 4,000 points (My reggae song just went astray despite having the best of intentions.)
5) I will DANCE with reckless abandonment. - 15,000 points I danced during blues.)

Let's get out the ol' calculator.. 8+35000+4000+4000+15000 = ...

Saturday Edition

1) I will sing a story with emotion and not worry about the jokes.
Yes. Although the story wasn't the most riveting narrative, it was a story rather than my usual joke-rhymes. It was much easier.

2) I will remember #6 in twelve days of Christmas.
Yes. I also remembered my two (one and two).

3) I will not overthink my line structure choices.
No. Okay, so I did start to second guess myself after the segregation/Shaun White joke didn't go over, but I realize now that I just needed to set it up better.

4) I will go big or go home.
Yes. I would say that on Musical Chairs and the Santa Guessing Game I went pretty big.

5) I will start positive.
Yes and No. For four-square I did start positive (but creepy) on one, but the other started pretty negative.

How'd I do? Let's see...

1) I will bring honesty to the insanity.
I don't know maybe 50/50 on this one. Some structures I kept a crazy character honest... more work is needed.

2) I will have a different punchline for "Farmer" and "Cowboy" in 185.
BOY, did I! However, we didn't get those. I did sell the ones I got, but I goofed up "the stripper and use the John" bit.

3) I will have purpose in Musical Chairs as background.
FAIL... I'm still to anxious to jump. Jason stopped me before I went out on Cristi's song. Good thing... I would have messed up the whole "creepy uncle" part. The polka dancing was good. Yeah, like I'm gonna pass up a chance to dance with Adam!

4) I will sing out not down.
I did for both nights during "Deck the Halls". I use the mic a lot for Musical Chairs.

5) I will show up with the Spirit of Christmas behind me.
For this past weekend's shows, I thought that I had good X-mas energy. During the "Ghosts of X-mas"... not so much. I got too far in my head, it went long and was hard. (That's what she said!)

1.) I WILL NOT START AN ARGUEMENT IN A SCENE. I really tried to be positive about the creepy guy that Adam was. I struggle with this one.
2.) I WILL SEE MY ENVIRONMENT AND USE WHAT'S IN IT. Hells yeah! Did you see me cuttin baby carrots during my song title?!
3.)I WILL USE TRUTH. Yup, creepy uncle Jerry is real! But it's really uncle Gary and not uncle Jerry.
4.) I WILL TRUST MY FEET. Yes. This one more applies to montage type situations but I think I did my best.
5.) I WILL NOT F UP THE OUTTAKES SHOW WITH MY HOSTING. If I did, it wasn't me...it was Baaaaarb!
