Three things

There were many wonderful aspects of rehearsal last night. I would like to point out three things, in particular. I have come up with a great acronym for this, a VBF. Lets break it down, shall we?

V=VALIDITY: By keeping the situation real and honest with an emotion that is real and honest, you really grab the audience by the heart strings. There was so much of that going on during our Montage by everyone. It was nice to see.

B=BEAT: During our Blues portion of rehearsal, Samantha's warm-up really helped me greatly. Everyone had great patience and timing going on which made for a big payoff on the third verse.

F=FLOW: Last night we did not force the funny on 185. Everybody incorporated a nice pace while still bringing a character with an emotion for the joke.

I feel that if we can bring the VBF to each and every show, it will really show the audience what we are made of! A whole troupe with a VBF would be remarkable. Some may not like a VBF at first, but you'll get used to it.

Okay, so I wasn't there, but any rehearsal that results in an acronym can only mean that it was more than A-OK.

I don't know about VBF, but when I was in 2nd grade, I went to VBS. Vacation Bible School. We made little Noah's arks out of pipe cleaners and yard waste and learned songs like "Jesus Loves Me" and "Don't go there, it the Devil's Lair". There were actions, but can't recall them at the moment.

Thanks for the memories team ACJKMMST, you're some real VIPs. (thanks for letting me visit. )

I don't know about you guys, but I have had experience with VBF since I was 13.

My mom said, "never VBF in the ocean or the sharks will get you."
